The product contains various vitamins and supplements, which can ease the symptoms of neuropathy. Neuropathy is a condition in which one or more nerves in the body are damaged, which results in numbness, muscle weakness, tingling sensation, and pain in the affected region.
DAVIT contains 10 major vitamins and minerals, which help in the treatment or prevention of diabetic neuropathy. This includes vitamin B1, B6, methyl cobalamin, folic acid, natural vitamin E, natural mixed carotenoids, copper, chromium, etc.
One capsule of DIAVIT contains:
- Vitamin B1 : 100 mg
- Vitamin B6 : 200 mg
- Vitamin B12 : 0.5 mg
- Folic acid : 0.2 mg
- Natural Vitamin E : 200 IU (as d-alpha tocopheryl acetate)
- Natural mixed carotenoids : 4 mg (Equivalent to Vitamin A 5000 IU)
- Vitamin D3 : 400 IU
- Copper (as Copper sulfate) : 1 mg
- Chromium (as Chromium picolinate) : 0.2 mg
- Zinc (as Zinc amino acids) : 15 mg
DAVIT can be used for the following conditions:
- Mononeuropathy, a single nerve or nerve group is damaged, in cases such as Carpel tunnel syndrome.
- Polyneuropathy, nerves outside of the brain and spinal cord are damaged, in conditions like diabetic neuropathy, alcohol-induced neuropathy or drug-induced neuropathy.
- Supplementation of vitamins and minerals for diabetic patients.
For managing neuropathy, one capsule can be taken one to three times daily with meals or as directed by the doctor. The dosage may be adjusted according to the patient’s age and symptom.
One capsule per day with meal can be taken for supplementation or as advised by your physician.
