What is HI-GREEN used for?

HI-GREEN is a supplement consisting of green tea extract which contains compounds such as caffeine and catechin as epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). Catechin helps to break down excess fat, while both catechin and caffeine increase the amount of energy the body uses. HI-GREEN is used to maintain body weight in those who are overweight or obese by improving blood circulation and boosting metabolism.

How many capsules of HI-GREEN do I take?

HI-GREEN is well tolerated in most people when taken in recommended quantities. It is not recommended for use in people with caffeine sensitivities or allergies to any component of the product.

My 54-year old mother is an avid coffee drinker, can she take HI-GREEN while consuming coffee?

It is not recommended to take HI-GREEN at the same time as other stimulants containing substances such as coffee and other caffeinated beverages as it may increase the risk of side effects like jitters, headaches gut disturbances and sleep disturbances.

Is it safe for pregnant women to take HI-GREEN?

HI-GREEN is made from green tea extract which contains caffeine. Caffeine may cause birth defects and preterm labour when taken in large amount by pregnant women. Hence it is not recommended for pregnant or lactating women to take HI-GREEN.

I’m taking blood thinners to manage my heart condition. Can I use HI-GREEN safely?

It is not recommended for people on blood thinning medication such as aspirin, warfarin etc. to take HI-GREEN as it may increase the risk of bleeding. For more information please consult your physician.
